The ABF academy at Turner Tech bridges the gap between the classroom arid the workplace. Students receive a comprehensive curriculum in business and finance including Introduction to Information Technology, Introduction to Business, Accounting Applications, and Management and Human Resources. Students participate in enriched hands- on activities that expand and reinforce classroom instruction. ABF students interact with business leaders through classroom presentations, job shadowing, mentor-ships, internships and on-the-job training (OJT), Dual Enrollment opportunities are also available to qualified students.

The ABF academy is certified as a Model Academy by the National Career Academy Coalition and the National Academy Foundation and is also certified under the Career and Profession Education Act (CAPE) offering students industry certification in QuickBooks, Adobe Photo Shop, and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). Students in the Academy of Business and Finance at Turner Tech operate the Mighty Eagles Credit Union providing banking services to students, faculty and staff.
